Purchase and payment
You can order and pay for our products in the webshop on hampenkeramik.dk. All prices are in Euro. A tax of 25% is included for items sold within the European Union. For orders outside the EU, you may have to pay local taxes and duties, for which we cannot be held responsible.
When you place and pay your order, you will receive an email with your order details and status. Your order will have the status “On-hold” until it has been confirmed by us. Following best practice for webshops based in Denmark, we do not charge your card until the order is completed. You will receive another email when your order is ready to ship.
Payments are handled by Stripe.com. We accept the following credit cards: Visa, Mastercard, American Express. We do not store your card information on the site and the payment is not drawn from your card until the order is fulfilled.
For bespoke and custom orders the payment is drawn upon our order acceptance.
Dispatch and delivery
Hampen Keramik is based in Gammel Hampen, Denmark, and all items are sent from here.
We aim to fulfill your order on the day we receive it, excluding weekends and official holidays, but please allow up to 4 days for your order to be processed for dispatch.
In case of our vacation, the webshop may temporarily be closed for orders.
We offer delivery by GLS and PostNord for Danish and German customers. Delivery options and prices are displayed on the Cart page and selected at checkout. The shipping price follows a rate table based on weight in kilos.
Delivery areas and time
We deliver to Denmark and Germany and expand the delivery countries on popular demand. Please contact us at email@example.com if you live in an uncovered area and wish to make a purchase.
Delivery time depends on shipping method and courier. Within Denmark the delivery time is typically 1-3 workdays from order fulfillment.
Delivery and tracking of parcels
If possible, the carrier agent will provide you with a tracking number for your parcel.
It is your responsibility to provide a correct shipping address and to be able to receive or pick up the parcel. Disputes on parcel delivery is between you and the carrier service you have chosen.

Data and security
When you make a purchase on hampenkeramik.dk we need the following information from you:

We collect this information in order to be able to deliver your goods to you. The information is registered at Pragt – Hampen Keramik and is kept for up to 5 years after which it is deleted.
Transactions made on hampenkeramik.dk are encrypted using ssl technology. The data provided is stored unencrypted.
When we collect personal information on our website we always make sure to inform you at all times.
The information gathered is available to the company owner Peter Løgstrup Fischer, who is responsible for all data on hampenkeramik.dk
We do not register any sensitive personal data. The personal data you provide to us when you make a purchase on hampenkeramik.dk are used for order processing and are handed over to our shipping providers GLS, PostNord and similar as well as our payment gateway Stripe.com.
In general, these third-party providers will only collect, use and disclose your information to the extent necessary to perform the services they provide to us. We recommend that you read the privacy policies of these providers if you wish to understand how your personal information is handled by them.
When you finish an order at hampenkeramik.dk you accept that your information is handed over to our shipping- and payment processing providers.
You have an option to register as a user on hampenkeramik.dk when you are making a purchase. Registration is optional. If you wish to view your order history online and have your information ready for your next purchase, feel free to create an account. We do not store credit card information so this offer only covers your name, email, billing- and shipping addresses.
As a registered customer at Pragt – Hampen Keramik you always have the right to object the registration. You also have the right to know what information we keep registered about you. These rights are given you by the Danish Act on Processing of Personal Data and any further questions or enquiries about the data we store must be directed to Pragt- Hampen Keramik via email: email@example.com
You are free to delete them at any time. The process of doing so depends on your browser. In Chrome and Firefox you can add browser extensions that can be easily used to view and delete cookies in general or for specific sites.
Returns and cooling-off period
Items bought from hampenkeramik.dk are returnable within 14 days of receipt.
The cooling-off period expires in 14 days from the day you:
- Received your item(s)
- Received the final item from an order of several items that are delivered individually
- Received the last portion or item of a delivery consisting of more portions or items
If you wish to return an item, you must let us know within 14 days of receipt by sending an email to firstname.lastname@example.org . In your email you must state that you wish to use your right of return.
You cannot cancel your purchase by simply refusing to receive the items you order, without informing us in advance.
Bespoke and custom orders are exempt from being returned once ordered.
When returning items, please print and fill out our returns form and include it with the items that you are returning.
You must return your order without any further delay within 14 days of informing us that you wish to make a return. Items are returned at your expense and it is your responsibility that they are safely wrapped and boxed for shipping.
We advise you to send your return items using a service that offers track and trace of the parcel and as a minimum get a receipt for your shipment. You hold the sole responsibility of the items until they are delivered back to us.

Items can only be returned in person on the address by prior agreement.
Condition of returned items
You are liable for any diminished value of the goods resulting from the handling other than what is necessary to try out the product. In other words – you can try the product in the same manner as if you tried it in a store.
If the product is used beyond what is outlined above, we consider it as used, which means that you will not get a full refund if any, based on our assessment of the commercial value of the item.
In order to receive a full refund on your purchase, you can only test the product, not take it in to actual use.
If you regret your purchase, we will refund you the order amount. In case of impairments to the goods caused by your handling, a deduction will be made.
Expenses for returning the goods are held by you.
We will carry out the reimbursement using the same means of payment as you used for your initial transaction, unless an agreement to do otherwise has been made.
We reserve the right to accept returns only from the person who bought the item(s).
The reimbursement will be carried out within 14 days from the day we receive your notice to withdraw from the purchase agreement.
We may withhold the reimbursement until we have received the products back.
What to include when returning items
You must include a copy of the order confirmation. In addition, you should print and fill out the returns form found on hampenkeramik.dk
Please note! We do not accept packages that are sent COD or similar.
Please note that you hold the sole responsibility of the goods until they are delivered back to us. If we do not receive the goods or if they are damaged upon our receipt, we cannot offer you a refund.
We advise you to pack the goods securely before shipping and use a trackable shipping service that offers insurance covering the purchase value of the goods.
We ship your goods using GLS or PostNord, depending on your choice of carrier at checkout.
The parcel is insured in transit, and we kindly ask you to check for damages when you receive the parcel. Any damages to the box must be documented with pictures before opening.
If your goods are damaged, you must contact us immediately and no later than 2 days after your receipt.
You must be able to provide photographic documentation of the damages and the carrier company must be given access to pick up the parcel in its original box and wrapping on the address of delivery.
If you fail to follow these guidelines, you lose your right to be compensated.

Complaints and warranty
Complaints can be made according to the Danish Sales of Goods Act. When you are shopping at hampenkeramik.dk you have a 24 month warranty. This means you can get the goods repaired or replaced, a refund or reduction in price, depending on the specific situation.
It is a requirement that the complaint is justified and the defect is not caused by lacking maintenance, ordinary wear and tear, incorrect use of the product or other injurious behavior.
When should I make a complaint?
You must make your complaint within 2 months of discovering the defect. If the complaint is justified, we will refund your (reasonable) shipping costs.
To file a complaint you must contact us at firstname.lastname@example.org and supply us with a thoroughly description of the problem. We may ask you to submit images and other documentation regarding your claim if necessary.
